MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

This memorandum of agreement made and entered into and among;

The BARANGAY COUNCIL of BARANGAY ARIDOWEN, SANTA TERESITA CAGAYAN,

represented by HON. JOHNY A. CORPUZ, Barangay captain of Barangay Aridowen Santa Teresita
Cagayan, herein referred to us the FIRST PARTY

AND

JOMARIE P. BAUTISTA, of legal age, CHILD DEVELOPMENT WORKER OF AGTA CHILD

DEVELOPMENT CENTER, I will address at BARANGAY ARIDOWEN SANTA TERESITA
CAGAYAN, herein referred to us the SECOND PARTY.

WITNESSETH

WHEREAS, the republic act 6972 otherwise known as the “BARANGAY LEVEL TOTAL
DEVELOPMENT AND PROTECTION OF CHILDREN ACT” provides for the development and
protection of the children.

WHEREAS, the CHILD DEVELOPMENT SERVICE is being implemented by the Barangay

Level; to Barangay Council should allocate funds for the honorarium of CDW and for the construction
and the maintenance of the CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER.

WHEREAS, the LGU Santa Teresita, thru the Social Welfare and Development Office oversees
the implementation of CHILD DEVELOPMENT SERVICE in every Barangay and provides technical
assistance to CDW.

NOW THERFORE, In consideration of the premises of the terms and condition herein set for
all parties do hereby agree as follows;

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The FIRST PARTY shall perform the following responsibilities:

1. Advocate the implementation of Child Care Service.

2. Provide funds for the Honorarium of Child Care Worker and for the construction and
maintenance of Child Development Center.
3. Monitor the implementation of Day Care Service in the Barangay.
4. He will not dismiss the Child Development Worker unless the latter fails to Carry out his/her
duties and responsibilities as Child Care Worker.
5. Coordinate with the DSWD Staff for the consultation regarding the implementation of Child
Development Center

The SECOND PARTY shall perform the following responsibilities:

1. Meet the Barangay Officials and Parents of Day Care Children to generate support for the
Day Care Service.
2. Conduct Monthly Meeting with the Child Care Parents to discuss activities of children in the
center. Topic on Nutrition, Health and Sanitation, Responsible Parenthood and other
problems in the center or community.

3. Conduct session for the minimum of three and a haft hours a day using the Daily Session
Plan Guide and WPAG and Content Web which promote the physical, behaivioral,
emotional, psychological development of children.
4. Consult the SWD Staff to obtain technical assistance on Child Development Service.
5. Keeps records of Day Care Children and other Program materials in the Child Development
Service.
6. Help the SWD Staff during relief operations and other reach out activities of the Staff in the
Barangay.
7. Attend regular meeting and special meeting of the Day Care Workers with the Social Welfare
Officer.

EFFECTIVITY:

This agreement will take upon signing of the documents by both partners:
