I. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson the learner should be able to:
1. Share research experiences and knowledge.
2. Demonstrate individual’s research experiences and knowledge.

II. Content:
a. Topic: Nature of Inquiry and Research
b. Materials: Laptop, Handouts

III. Procedure:
A. Preparation:
1. Checking of Attendance
2. Motivation
Present modern day objects that are products of research and let students
relate such knowledge to their own experiences. Cite specific examples.

B. Presentation:
Discuss how objects came into existence, explain the role of research play in the
discovery of such objects:
a. Cellphones
b. Plastic chairs
c. Backpacks
d. Electric Irons
e. Bottled Water
f. etc.

C. Practice:
Divide the students into five (5) group let them share their knowledge and
experiences about research. Let them identify instances which made their lives
easier because of research. Let each group consolidate each member’s shared
ideas and present it in class.

IV. Assessment/Evaluation:
On a half sheet of paper share your knowledge and experiences about research
and identify instances that research helped you as a students.

V. Assignment/Agreement:
Internet research on the Importance of Research in your daily life.
