This 1 covers Character 1

I’m giving brief info on all 4 Characters

Which includes my character

I’m only fully listing my character

The rules we are using are a mixture of those from the 3 main rule books

Most of the rules that The GM is using are from The 3rd rulebook, which was called Alpha Dawn

But it does use stuff from all 3 Rulebooks

And

For some reason The GM is using The Spaceship Rules from The 2nd Rulebook, which I’ve forgotten
the name of

They all come up A between A 58 and A 66

That means that my characters initial stats are STR 50/STA 50, DEX 50/IRS 50, INT 50/LOG 50 and
PER 50/LDR 50

I don’t know if The GM has changed the rules or not but all 4 Pcs are allowed to alter all 4 sets of 2
stats by 10 points

And

I choose to do the following changes

I increase INT to 58, but it means I must lower LOG to 42

I increase STA to 55, but it means I must lower STR to 45

I increase Dex to 53, but it means I must lower IRS to 47

I increase Leadership to 60, but it means I must lower PER to 40

And

That means my characters initial stats are STR 45/STA 55, DEX 53/IRS 47, INT 58/LOG 42 and PER
40/LDR 60

Also

I have A Initiative Modifier of 26

Other stuff

Because I have A Personality of 40 my initial reputation is 4

I am right-handed

His Primary Skill Area is Biological

My characters 2 starting Skills are The Biosocial Skill First Aid /1 and The Military Skill Weapons -
Beam Weapons /1

Also

All of us have A 3rd Skill

Normally Characters only start with 2 Skills


But this campaigns different in several ways, roughly 26% of them are definitely good, roughly 26%
are definitely bad and depending on the situation other 48% can be either good or bad

The reason for that is that The GM has created 4 adventures that will each have a different Pc
playing A Very Important Part and the other 3 Pcs playing Minor Parts

That is why The GM let us all start with A 3rd Skill and it is chosen by The GM

Saying that though the 1 she chooses 1 that she knows will be very useful in the 1 adventure that
she made in which 1 of us plays A Very Important Part

And

That’s why The 3 Skills my Character starts with are The Biosocial Skill First Aid /1, The Military Skill
Weapons -Beam Weapons /1 and The Technical Skill Repairing Computers /1

Also

Ooops sorry wrong Star Frontiers campaign

By which I mean that all 4 Pcs are only guaranteed to start with 2 Level /1 Skills

Here’s the correct info

But The GM is kind enough to give all 4 Pcs A 50/50 chance to start with 3 Level /1 Skills that are
chosen by their player

Me and the other 3 players all roll A 4 on 1D6, which means that all 4 Pcs start with 3 Level /1 Skills
that are chosen by their player

That is why my Pc stats with 3 Level 1 Skills chosen by me

I choose The Biosocial Skill First Aid /1, The Military Skill Weapons -Beam Weapons /1 and The
Technical Skill Repairing Computers /1

The GM has changed her mind again, which means that all 4 Pcs only get 2 Level /1 Skills

And

In the end my character gets The Biosocial Skill First Aid /1 and The Military Skill Weapons -Beam
Weapons /1

Other stuff

Merits and Flaws

The GM has decided that all players can have as many Flaws as they want, some of which are worse
then other

Each Flaw gives a certain number of points that can be used to buy Merits

For my Flaws I go for Allergy -Strong Alcohol(1 point), Curiosity(3 points), Phobia x2 –Terrorists and
very big dogs(3x2 or 6 points) and Pride(4 points), which gives me 14 points

For my Merits I go for Allure(2 points), Craftmanship -Painting(2 points), Obscure Knowledge(3
points), Power(4 points) and Precise Memory(3 points)
Also

I’m not sure if The official rules lets The Players choose their Characters Ability but our GM is letting
us

And

I choose to have my character start with The Run Ability

Money

I’m A Science Specialist so I start with 20,000 Credits

Due to 1 of The Changes The GM made to The Rules my characters LOG of 42 means that he gets
another 5D4x600 Credits

I’m lucky enough for my 5 1D4 rolls to come up as 3 3’s, 1 4 and 1 2

That means that my character starts with a extra 15x600 or 9,000 Credits

That gives me 29,000 Credits

The resources Modifier roll comes up A 15

And

That Credits equal to 29,000 +10%, which means I start with 31,900 Credits

Belongings and/or equipment

Technically I buy none

Rather I make rolls on The GM’s tables for determining stuff relating to what, if anything, my
characters 2 parents and 4 grand-parents left him

I was lucky enough 8 of The 13 rolls came up between A 68 or higher and for the other 5 to each be
between A 29 and A5 40

Because of all the lucky I had with those 8 Rolls when adding in The 31,000 Credits he started with
my character was lucky enough to start with well over Cr 4300,000 in cash and several hundred
things that are of use and/or value

I even rolled The 95+ on 1D100 that means a dead relative left me their Ship that no longer had a
loan on it and other rolls saw me get a decent ship

And

When determining what my parents left me I was fortunate enough that my lowest roll was A 49 and
my 2nd lowest roll was A 66

Also

For my grandparents

On mothers side

They were traders who left me a total of Cr 44,000x2 or Cr 88,000

On my fathers side
My grandfather was A Pirate who later became A Pirate Hunter who left me his ship as well as Cr
71,000

My grandmother was A Dealer in Arms, Armour and supplies who left me 112 assorted things of use
as well as Cr 79,000

And

My Uncle left me 1 Farm worth Cr 138,000 that all earn me 5.7% of that per month, which means
they all earn me Cr 7,866 a month

My parents

They were both business owner

My Mother left me Cr 99,000

She also left me 3 Business’s that buy, sell, trade and fix Hover Cars, they are all worth Cr 266,000
that all earn me 5% of that per month, which means they all earn me Cr 13,300 a month

He left me 3 Business that sell Jewels and Jewellery, they are all worth Cr 266,000 that all earn me
3.8% of that per month, which means they all earn me Cr 10,108 a month

My grandfather old Pirate Ship

It A Ex Pirate Ship that was A Moderately Armed and Moderately Armoured Large Trader that was
converted into A Pirate Ship

At a even later date it was converted so that it could be used as both A Trading Ship and as A Pirate
Hunting Ship

Its stats are Hull 14, Propulsion 4, Life Support 3, Navigation 2, Communication and Detection 2 and
Emergency 2

Like I said it has A Hull Size of 14, which means that it can hold a maximum of 14 units of cargo and it
also has room for the several hundred items that my character inherited from his parents and
grandparents

It has onboard security, defensive, anti-theft and anti-hijack systems that consist of Alarm and
Damage Control, Sci-Fi portcullis, tranquiliser gas pumping darts, tranquiliser dart firing internal
turrets, Camera’s and Monitors, all of which are 11.6% better then normal

It has A 24.4 foot by 13.6 foot Medical Room. It has a adjacent 3 ton supply cupboard that holds 1.2
tons of both basic medicines and basic medical equipment and 0.3 tons of both advanced medicines
and advanced medical equipment and it also has 3 fairly advanced medical robots, 17 short-stay
beds, 5 long stay beds and 1 tiny operating room

For reasons that my characters grandfather never told him A Massive Freezer Unit that’s on the
same floor holds 7 5-pint bags of all 26 common blood types, which means that it holds 182 5-pint
bags of blood and it also holds 5 3-pint bags of both all 5 rare blood types and all 3 very rare blood
types, which means that it holds 40 3-pint bags of blood

It also has 6 each of Human, Vrusk, Drasalite and Yaziran sized Space-suits, 3 decent sized and 1 large
sized emergency pods and 2 fairly large life-boats
Its Armoury holds 38 weapons of 14 different types, 29 Grenades of 6 different types, 23 pieces of
protective gear of 6 different types and 17 suits of armour of 3 different types

Its main Engine is A Type A Chemical Drive and its back up Engine is also A Type A Chemical Drive

It has A Crew of 1 Pilot, 1 Engineer, 1 Navigator, 1 Medic, 1 Security and 2 Gunners that all have A
Skill level of 3

When it comes to rooms The 7 Crew all have 1 room each, The 4 Pcs each have 1 room and it has 3
other rooms that if needed can each hold 2 people

My crew each get Cr 200x31 or Cr 6,200 a month, which means they get paid a total of Cr 43,400,
which leaves me with a minimum profit of Cr 26,850 a month

Take away life support, maintenance and upkeep cost of Cr 12,900 a month leaves me with a
minimum profit of Cr 13,950 a month

Its weapons, armour and similar are 2 Laser Cannons, 1 Assault Missile Turret with 20 Rapid Assault
Missiles and 1 Reflective Hull that gives 5 points of Armour

And

By pure chance between them the people that work on my characters ship have all the skills needed
for the adventure On The Rocks
