Track 1.31
Kinga: A special building? Well, Sydney Opera House is very special for
me. It’s in Sydney, of course, in the east of Australia. What do I know about
it ? Well, it’s a really spectacular building. The designer was from
Denmark. I think his name was Jorn Utzon. He changed his plans for the
building many times and the construction work took a long time – fifteen
years I think! Why is it special for me? I love the shape of the roof. It’s
completely unique. It’s amazing in daylight and it looks very dramatic at
night too. People from all over the world see it as a landmark of Australia.
It represents my country and I’m very proud of it
