Verbs in Simple Present (3rd Person

[He,She,It])
We add -s to the form of the verb used with
the 3rd Person (e.g. likes). Also
Verbs ending in… We
Consonant + y. (e.g Replace ‘y’ with -ies
study) (e.g. studies)
s,sh,ch,x,z,o (e.g. Add -es (e.g.
watch, fix, miss, go). watches, fixes,
misses, goes).

Examples:
 He tries to make a sandwich.
 She teaches Spanish.

 He didn’t clean his room.

Past Continuos (was/were [fui/estaba])
Affirmative
