EDUCATION

Masters in the Art of Teaching, Georgia College and State

University
AUGUST, 2022 - PRESENT. (expected graduation May, 2024)
I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) at Georgia
College and State University, where I am deeply committed to achieving
educational excellence. The program has provided me with a platform to
advance my knowledge and expertise in the field of education through
rigorous coursework focused on pedagogy, curriculum development, and
educational research. As part of my studies, I have gained valuable
hands-on teaching experience by participating in practical teaching
placements, where I work closely with diverse student populations and
adapt instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs. This
exposure has allowed me to collaborate with experienced educators,
observing and implementing innovative teaching methods that prioritize
a student-centered approach and promote active learning.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE, WALDEN UNIVERSITY

AUGUST, 2019 - NOVEMBER, 2013

Majority of my classes revolved around my concentration in Human

Services. Although the degree was specific to Criminal Justice, I took
many classes in counseling, adult rehabilitation/transition into the
community and human development in adolescence and adult persons. I
also have many class hours that concentrate on psychological
development and sociology. Many of the classes I took will help me
transition into teaching and working with children and young adults. I
have always been well-read and interested in the di erent genres of
literature. Walden provided an opportunity for me to take a number of
di erent literature classes from Creative Fictional Writing, Academic
Writing, Literary works in Feminism, American Literature, World
Literature, and others. Needless to say, ELA classes won most of my
credit hours while in school.
