    Watch a performance of El Gamma Penumbra on YouTube. What do you think were the
    techniques used in the performance? How do you think did these techniques make up their
    whole performance? (10 points)

    El Gamma Penumbra’s presentation used a variety of approaches. I’ve observed the


    hand gestures and bodily movements used to demonstrate acting techniques.
    Additionally, they show off dancing moves that can be used to convey a feeling, a
    desired mood, or a circumstances. El Gamma uses music, shadow play, manipulated
    light and movement to tell stories. A rhinoceros, a racing vehicle, the Statue of Liberty, a
    giraffe, and Mother Nature are just a few of the silhouettes that the group members have
    created using the combination of light, shadow, and their own bodies.\

    PERFORMANCE TASK: RESEARCH AND ANALYTICAL ESSAY

    A. Research on Art Technique

    Instruction: Research the different techniques in the following field of art below. State and
    explain at least two techniques on each field of art. (2 points each)
    Instruction: Discuss the importance of mediums and techniques in art by answering the
