ZUMBA DANCE COMPETITION

GENERAL GUIDELINES AND CRITERIA

GUIDELINES:

1. The participants must be a student enrolled at Pagadian Capitol College Inc. AY:
2022-2023 under the subject PATHFIT 1.
2. The group must consist the minimum of 15 participants and maximum of 30.
3. Members of the group may be composed of all males or females, or any thereof.
Three points (3) are deducted if there are excess of deficient in number of
participants.
4. Each team must submit their music on the scheduled date and time, late
submission will be deducted 3 points to the overall total score.
5. Each team can choose, edit or remix any music of their choice. Music and
Choreography should be wholesome and lively must not contains any subliminal,
sexually suggestive and vulgar lyrics / language or suggestive act.
6.  Appropriate clothing should be observed throughout the competition. Attire may
include accessories such hats, caps, gloves, scarves, jewelries, etc. removing
pieces of clothing during the performance is allowed provided that it is not
offensive or out of the character.
7. Lifting is prohibited. The assigned organizers/teachers have the right to stop and
cancel the performance if any of the above mentioned is violated.
8. The Performance must be at least 5 minutes but not more than 10 minutes. Any
excess in time will have three (3) points deduction of the total score.
9. The Decision of the judges is final and irrevocable.

CRITERIA:

 PROJECTION/PASSION/ENERGY – 50%
 CHOREOGRAPHY/TIMING/COORDINATION -- 35%
 PROPS AND COSTUME – 15%

 TOTAL – 100%
