YELL COMPETITION

MECHANICS
1. The competition is open to students under Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Bachelor of
Science in Business Administration.
2. Each group will have a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 members.
3. Each group will perform their yells with a minimum time limit of 1 minute and 30 seconds and
maximum time limit of 2 minutes. Beyond this limit, a total of five (5) points will be deducted
from the group’s total score.
4. The members of the group may be composed of all males or females, or any combination
thereof.
5. Participating teams are given the free-hand for their choice of music.
6. The use of props and costumes are allowed.
7. Any team proven in violation of the rules & regulations will be automatically disqualified from
the event.
8. Decision of judges is final and non-appealable.

c. Clarity of Voice -----25%
d. Mastery and Timing-----20%
e. Audience Impact ----- 10%
