Explanation:
➢ The components of the promotion mix are the resources that a company
combines to achieve its marketing goals, which include raising demand and
raising awareness of the product. The promotional mix plan consists of four
components. The promotional mix approaches outline the strategies used by a
firm to meet its marketing goals. The components are sales promotion, personal
selling, public relations, and advertising.

➢ Advertising is the process through which businesses and organizations

communicate with the public by raising awareness of the goods and services they
offer. It is described as the impersonal, paid communication that mentions the
company. It comprises paying another organization to spread awareness of the
product or service on behalf of the firm that manufactures the commodity by
providing information about it. The purpose of advertising in the promotion mix is
to inform the general public about the advantages of the good or service, how to
utilize it, and its dependability. Advertising can be utilized effectively on a variety
of platforms, including TV, radio, email, banners, and social media sites (like
Facebook and Instagram).

➢ Public relations refer to how a business projects its brand to the general public. It
demonstrates how people respond to the business and how it engages with its
clients and the wider public. Through communication and social media channels,
businesses typically project a positive brand image to the public by publishing
positive material about the causes and volunteer activities they support. For
instance, a business might inform the public while donating food and clothing to
homeless families or children's homes. This action aims to provide the company a
positive public image.

➢ Sales Promotion. Sales promotion strategies include in-store demos, displays,

competitions, and price incentives (50% off, buy one, get one free).

➢ public Relations. With the aim of boosting sales, these actions cultivate goodwill,
create publicity, and establish a positive brand image. Public relations strategies
include generating positive media attention, conducting special events, and
supporting charitable initiatives.

➢ Direct Marketing. a type of advertisement that urges the recipient to take action,
such as placing an order, clipping a coupon, calling a toll-free number, or visiting a
store, and is directed directly at the target audience (often at their homes or
offices). Letters, catalogs, and coupon mailers are typical examples of direct
marketing.

➢ Personal Selling. interaction between the customer and the vendor in person.
