Public Notice for Onsite Composting

To reduce the daily municipal waste generated in city and to promote the practice
of waste segregation &onsite composting by Bulk waste
generators/households/individuals in Gurugram, Municipal Corporation Gurugram
has empaneled agencies/service providers etc for assisting the waste generators.
These agencies are empaneled to provide technical support/assistance for (1)
Setting up composting plant only and (2) For further operation & maintenance
within the premises of the waste generators.

As per the Solid waste management Rules 2016, Bulk waste generators are
responsible for waste segregation at source and wet waste composting. For
technical assistance and final selection

 All the bulk waste generators will be responsible for evaluation of technology,
financial cost and final selection of agency for installation of composting
unit/system.
 The Price list / Rate list of agencies for their machinery/equipment Operation
and Maintenance under Sub Head I & II is to be negotiated further by the
Consumer at their own level who wishes to take service from these
Empaneled Vendors.
 Necessary arrangement required for installation of composting machine /
equipment space etc. will be provided by Direct User /Bulk waste generators.
 The payment for supply, installation of composting machine / equipment will
be madedirectly by the user or consumer directly benefited from the service
of vendor. MCG will notbe held responsible for any non – payment issue and
will not engage in final selectionprocess.
 In case of any Civil and Criminal Liability arises between Empaneled vendors
and consumer/direct benefiter/RWA/Bulk Waste Generator, MCG will not be
held responsible.
 In case of any SWM Rules 2016 violation, Bulk waste generator shall be
directly responsible for Fine/penalty for the environmental damage& Agency
will be removed from Empanelment and blacklisted by giving 1 month prior
notice.

MCG Shall not be liable for claims, damages, liabilities, costs, penalties etc.

(i) From or by any Government Authority, including the CPCB or the HSPCB,
and Third Parties for damages to the environment or any acts, omissions,
defaults or negligence by BWG that damages the environment; and
(ii) Resulting from accidents at work, occupational diseases and contingencies
that may arise at or around the Site.
