Main Activity Pile breaking with Hydraulic breaker Unit/Location (Prime G), MS Block
Equipment’s to be used Hydraulic excavator breaker. Team Members ACX, BS, SP, MKV, SA,
Required PPEs. Safety Helmet, Safety Shoes, Hand Gloves, Safety Goggles and Ear Plug where ever required

3.1.4. Always use mirrors to identify potential hazards & to eliminate them.
3.1.5. Do not reverse into any direction without the guidance of flagmen.
3.1.6. Ground personnel are not permitted in front or nearby areas while
Hydraulic excavator breaker is in operation.
3.1.7. Ensure fire hose is charged with hydrant during equipment operation
time.
3.2.1. Ensure fire extinguisher is always available with the equipment.
3.3.1. Excavator breaker daily safety checklist must be available & signed
by job engineer & HSE officer.
3.3.2. Ensure equipment fuelling time engine must be off.
4.1.1. Only use inspected and good condition breaker. Engineer/
4.1.2. Check the hydraulic hose doesn’t have leak. Supervisor
4.2.1. Ensure proper area barricading to avoid tripping hazard.
4.2.2. Remove all unwanted materials.
5.1.1. Low visibility hazard must be emphasized in tool box meeting. Engineer/
5.1.2. Ensure sufficient site lighting for job where required. Supervisor
5.1.3. Red/green light batons to be used for guiding vehicles during night
works.
5.2.1. Adhere to good fatigue management practices.
5.2.2. Get a good session of sleep prior to commencing night shift.
5.2.3. Report to foremen/supervisor when symptoms of fatigue affect safe
operation.
