Mrs.

Brown, according to the doctor’s note you may have a peptic Ulcer. You have to

go on recommended diet program. Now, it is time for me to explain a diet

program that is good for your health. You need milk protein. It will not

imitate gastric mucosa. The normal protein requirement of 1 g/ kg body weight,

i.e. about 60 grams should be given. Fat like butter, cheese and cream are

helpful whereas fats of fried food articles are difficult to digest and may

increase symptoms. Sufficient calories are to be given and vitamin C may
