I was able to observe Nathan for this assignment. Nathan is one out of five students that Mrs.
Camillery has in her classroom every day. The lesson that was being taught was being used
by the SmartBoard and Nathan had to practice his addition and subtraction in math. Nathan is
in second grade and he says he doesn’t like math. He got frustrated but he knew the answer
every time. It seemed like he was psyching himself out before he even answered because he
thought he didn’t know the answer. He grinned after he got the answer right because he didn’t
think he would get it right. He seemed really proud of himself after he knew he got the answer
correct.
