Description of the truck quick-action
wheel clamp

The quick-action wheel clamp for trucks

consist of:

the truck wheel clamp plate with several bolt

circle diameters,

the clamping arms with 2 claws each,

the 3 spacers (short) for the front axle or the

3 spacers (long) for the rear axle (s) (twin
wheels).

The quick-action wheel clamps are attached

by simply clamping the clamping arms over
the wheel tread.
The quick-action wheel clamps can be used
universally for all truck wheels with the bolt
circles of 205mm, 8 3/4”, 225mm, 227mm,
245mm, 285mm and 335mm by rearranging
the three spacers.

When using truck quick-action wheel clamps,

runout compensation is not possible!
The truck quick-action wheel clamps are self-
centering and do not require runout
compensation due to their accurate
manufacture and their mounting at the true
surface of the disc wheels.

Safety note
It is advisable to check the retention force of
the wheel clamps after mounting them onto
the wheels.
Check that the gripper arms are clamped
properly into the tyre tread.

Attaching the quick-action wheel clamps for trucks

If necessary, remove hubcaps and clean wheel

nuts as well as the true surface of the rim
(contact surface for the spacers).

Insert the sleeves into the required bolt circle

diameter (Pos. 1) of the truck wheel clamp
plate and fix it by means of the star grips (Pos.
2).
Use the 3 short sleeves (Pos. 3) for the front
axle and the three long sleeves (Pos. 4) for the
rear axle(s) (twin wheels).

Adjust the length of the adjustable arms (Pos.

2) of the claws (18 different positions are
possible) to approximately the diameter of the
outer edge of the rim by pressing the snap-
levers.

Attaching the quick-action wheel
clamps to the tyres

Put the sleeves of the quick-action wheel

clamps on the corresponding wheel nuts at
the true area of the rim:
the quick-action wheel clamps with the short
sleeves on the tyres of the front axle,

the quick-action wheel clamps with the long

sleeves on the tyres of the rear axle(s).

In regards to their tight attachment, the

position of the quick-action wheel clamps
must be taken into consideration!

The wing screw (Pos. 1) must point upwards

(approximately 12 o’clock position) and the
clamping arms (Pos. 2) must be aligned
horizontally!
Press both clamping levers (Pos. 3) towards
the wheel until they are approximately parallel
to it.
Press both clamping arms against the tyre and
release the clamping levers.

The claws (Pos. 1) of the adjustable clamping

arms must tightly and safely slide into the
tread. If necessary, readjust the clamping
arms and check the retention force of the
wheel clamps once more (by shaking them)
after their attachment to the tyre.
