Anti-Abortion in the Philippines

Should Abortion Be Legal? From the ten comandments “killing is a sin” a mortal sin.
Aborting an unborn fetus is literally killing. Taking the innocent's lives is an act of rejecting a
blessing from above. Here in Philippines, aborting an unborn fetus is a disgrace to the the
church.
The Philippine Constitution imposes upon the State the duty to “equally protect the life of
the mother and the life of the unborn from conception.”(Article II, Section 12). The life of the
unborn (equally with that of the mother) is entitled to protection at and from conception.
Legalizing abortion can harm the life of the future baby and also the mother. This defense must
be effective should be from any kind of danger, injury, or death, not just minor ones not just
actual but also any threat or risk.
Under our law, a conceived child is endowed with the dignity and worth of a human being
from his conception and thus is recognized to have the right not only to be born, but to be born
well. (Article 3, Child and Youth Welfare Code). This necessarily includes a child's right to a
healthy development during pregnancy not to be removed from the mother's womb before
reaching full term.
If we are to reduce the number of abortions in the Philippines, we must look first to the
causes. Someone said that aborting the unborn fetus would help reduce the population in the
Philippines. How does it say that, in order to reduce the population in the Philippines, legalize
the abortion of the fetus in the mother's womb? That was a huge mistake to think that the reason
for the increase in population in the Philippines is because Filipinos don’t have any family
management that can help them manage the members of their family. One of the reasons why
many teenagers abort their babies is because they can’t sustain the financial support for their
baby's needs.Teenagers are afraid to face their responsibilities and are scared of what people
might say to them or hear an unpleasant word from adults.
