Interview of the candidates:

Apex conducts interviews mainly for two purposes. One of those two is for employee selection
purposes and the other is for appraisal purposes. The interview style varies based on the post for
which the employees are being hired and appraised. The interviews of Apex are in a different
form.
Structured - Unstructured Interview
When the company interviews the candidates, the questions of the interviews are not rigidly
fixed. The company set some basic questions which are previously fixed. The fixed questions are
mainly job-related for which the candidates are hired or appraised. Apart from these fixed
questions, the interviewers ask so many open-ended questions which are also job-related but not
previously fixed. The company generally uses a mixture of structured and unstructured
interviews for hiring purposes but the company rarely goes for structured interviews for
employee appraisal purposes.
Based on the questions asked in the interview, Apex uses Job-Related interviews and Stress
interviews.
Job-Related Interview
In the interview board, the participants are mainly asked job-related questions for which they are
being hired. The aim of the company is to hire candidates who know well about the job and to
gather appropriate employees among the bulk of candidates the interviewers are instructed to ask
job-related questions which help the company to gather the true enthusiastic candidates who
know the job very well and interested to engage him/her in the job.
Stress Interview
Hiring employees for higher positions in the
company, the company wants to test the candidates’
mental ability to encounter unpleased situations and
the sensitivity of candidates. As the position is very
much crucial for the company, so the interviewers
are instructed to take some form of stress interview
with job-related questions.

The administrative point distinguishes the interview of Apex into many other forms. From this
viewpoint, the different types of interviews are:
1. Single interview
2. Panel interview
3. Walks- In interview
4. Phone/ Video interview
Single Interview
Apex uses single interviews so many times to hire lower-position employees. When the company
finds the job not much important for the company, the company doesn’t want to waste much time
and money on the interview process and conduct a single interview where an interviewer takes
interviews to select the required number of employees.
Panel Interview:
For most of the interview, the interview is conducted under a panel. The company management
prefers to take panel interviews for the candidates believing that the panel interview can assess
the employee more accurately than the other form of the interview. In these cases, the company
appoints 3 to 5 interviewers and instructs them to take interviews, and marks them individually
for better assessment.

Walks- In Interview
Sometimes Apex conducts walk-in interviews where the high-level managers directly come to
the working department and ask different types of questions to the employees and submit all the
documents to the authority. This type of interview is usually conducted for appraisal purposes.
Phone/ Video Interview
Usually, the company doesn’t use phone or video
interviews for selecting or appraising purposes. But in
the period of covid-19, the company uses phone and
video interviews for selecting new employees. After
the normal situation, the company does.t use any
phone or video interview in appointing any employees
in the company.
