LEARNING EPISODE 15: TOWARD TEACHER QUALITY:

DEVELOPING A GLOCAL TEACHER OF THE 21ST CENTURY

MANCIA, JEFF HARDEY D.

BSED-ENGLISH IV

Activity 15.1 REFLECT

Are you inspired to become a teacher after your observation? If yes, why? If no,
why not?

I am really inspired to become a teacher as I observed my resource

teacher. As I watched and observed him teaching in his class. I imagined the feeling of
being him, speaking, talking and communicating what I know to share to my future
students. He inspired me to become a teacher when he talked to me about the life of
teaching and the students that I will have in the near future. He is really good in
teaching and I want to become like him when I am already handling my students.

When you become a teacher in the future, how else would you do better as a
professional teacher?

If I already become a teacher, I would adapt the qualities that the resource
that I observed have. Also, I would build the rapport with my students to have a good
communication and relationship all throughout. In this way, the teaching and learning
process would be effective and engaging. Moreover, I will always bear in mind what my
resource teacher said, that gone are the times of having a terror teacher, it is more
effective if I would be approachable and a type of teacher that is not intimidating.

We cannot be sure that all the
