ELEMENT 01: SINGLE STROKE BELL
What is the single stroke bell?
Single stroke bell is the one that is used in signaling purposes as in buses buses
mines offices in shops and other situation places where longer sound my disturb the workers
personnel.
Single stroke bell produces sounds in a single note.
CONSTRUCTION
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
Single stroke bell working under a magnetic effect of electric current, when push
button(adjusting screw) of the bell pressed, the electromagnetic become energized, the armature
and striker is attracted causing a movement which brings the striker against the gong and
produce the sound.
For correct operation of this bell, push button(adjusting screw) must be pressed ON and
released OFF in quick movement, otherwise the sound of the note produced will be muffled by
the striker being held against the gong.
As soon as bell push is released, the armature returns to its original position.
ELEMENT 04 BUZZER
What is buzzer?
Buzzer is electrical device that is used to produce buzzing noise and its used in signaling.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
Buzzer is working based on the principle that whenever an electric potential is applied across a
piezoelectric material a pressure variation is generated.
Thus by oscillating the signal through the coil, the buzzer produces a fluctuating magnetic field
which vibrates the disk and produces sound.
TOTALIAL QUESTION
1. Explain the working principle of the single stroke bell.
2. Explain the working principle of the tremble bell
3. Explain working principle of the continuous ringing bell
4. Explain how does buzzer works.
