Title: Transferring of Packaging Material Approved by: S. K. Chin

1. Purpose
i) To ensure the transferring of packaging material such as bottles, caps,
packaging box, carton box into production follow a correct procedure.
ii) Eliminate cross contamination.

2. Scope
All types of packaging material in store.

3. Responsibility (as in organization chart)

i) Production supervisor and worker
ii) Store supervisor and storekeeper

Store
1. Production supervisor will issue a Request Note stating the

type and quantity of packaging material required and passes to
store supervisor. Store supervisor update the stock card.
2. Before any packaging material transferring, make sure all the Stock Card
doors in Buffer Area III are closed.
3. Store supervisor will unlock the Door A during the transferring BMR
of packaging material into Buffer Area III. As the packaging
material been transfer into Buffer Area III, store supervisor will
lock Door A.
4. Production supervisor will unlock Door B. Production worker will
transfer packaging material into Production Area through Door
B. Production supervisor will lock Door B.
