Means of transport for international travels

Means of transport existed for many years but we didn’t always travel long distances as we
do now, and not so many orille , and for reasons other ghanés economics or politics.
Nowadays traveling to other countries is much more common and not only for work but also
for pleasure.
The plane is one of the most popular transport to travel long distances between countries or
continents but there weren’t always airplanes , these were created in 1890 ,So how was it
done to be able to travel the long distances before 1890? With ships since they have existed
for more than 10,000 years but they weren’t as technological as they are now but the boats
evolved until they reached the ones we know today. I think that in the future cars will fly and
we will be able to go anywhere we want without needing others means of transports
