    Exercise # 2: Layerstacking Landsat in ENVI Exelis

    1. Opening Landsat MTL File by 2 x ways


    a. Open directly the MTL.txt file

    b. Or Open as Landsat image


    2. Zoom In to see the composite image
    3. Change RGB bands
    4. You can select bands for RGB combination as per your objective of study

    5. Choose the Layer Stacking tool from the ENVI Toolbox or select from the available list of tools

    6. Select the desired bands to be stacked either from Import file or bands option
    Or changing from file to bands option
    You can keep the full scene or select your ROI file
    After Naming output file name, click Ok
