The first graphic show that the percentage of world forest in 5 different region. As we
can see in the first graphic South America gets 16% for global forest, followed by Africa at
27%, Asia accounts for 14% of global forest. Next, Europe gets 18% and North America gets
25% of global forest. We can conclude that Africa having the highest score in percentage of
global forest and Asia having the lowest score in percentage of global forest.
The second graphic show that the percentage of timber in each region. South America
takes 23% of global timber, with Africa at 9%, followed by Asia gets 18% of global timber.
Next, Europe has 20% and North America has 30% of global timber. We can conclude that
North America has a higher score of global timber and Africa has a smallest score of global
timber.
Combining the information from the both graphics, we can observe that Africa has a
higher score in percentage of global forest with 27% but has a smallest score in percentage of
global timber with 9%. North America has a higher score in percentage of global timber with
30% and gets 25% in percentage of global forest, this indicates that North America has a
good progress in the forest and timber.
