PART 1: ESSAY

Nowadays, a lot of people are being more influenced to consume any type of products. This
happens for many reasons such as the large quantity of advertisement. During the last decades
there has been a tendency for products to be less durable, and therefore people can consume
more.

One of the factors is that people are more influenced by what celebrities do. People, especially
teenagers, tend to imitate what famous people consume. A clear example would be when girls use
beauty products that famous models such as Kendall Jenner uses. Moreover, celebrities somehow
establish what is fashionable or not, so there is always a tendency to follow that because therefore
you would not fit in the society.

In addition, another significant factor is that globalization has provoked that there is a whole load
of adverts. For instance, if you are walking in the center of New York, you will see the large
quantity of big screens showing adverts of anything. Or if you are at home watching the TV, you
will spend more time watching the publicity than a movie. According to specialists, companies
have increased their publicity for at least a hundred per cent in the last decade.

To sum up, I reckon that human consumption has increased during the decades not only because
of all the factors mentioned, but also because human necessities have evolved and now we
demand more.

PART 2: REPORT
INTRODUCTION:
The aim of this report for the manager is to outline my training experience, describe the training
and explain how useful it was, and say how the new skills might help me in the future.

MY TRAINING EXPERIENCE:
I worked in the accountant department of a company and I make sure that everything related to
the economy of the company is well. However, this course that the company sent me to was about
how to have a better bond with the people you work with. In the course, we had to talk with a lot
of people from different part of the country, and it was kind of interesting because I get to know
everyone in the course and it was really interesting to hear about other´s people opinion. I would
say that the best part was when we sat altogether and discuss about economic topics.

HOW USEFUL IT WAS:

I gained a great deal from this course because I develop my communicative and social skills in
order to maintain a happy environment at work. Besides, I learnt not only about people´s lives, but
also they gave a lot of advice on the finances of a company and how to make their investments
more profitable.
CONCLUSION:
For all the reasons stated, I feel confident in recommending this course because it was a positive
experience.
