The college has rapidly developed since its inauguration and has been consistently
ranked as one of the best undergraduate colleges in the country. It has been
declared as India’s Best Undergraduate Management College by India Today in
the year 2020.
Mark-It is the Marketing Society of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business
Studies. We believe in delivering excellence, brilliance, and fostering innovation
with team effort, while absorbing knowledge along the way, be it through our wide
network, or with our creative vision and ideation. It has created a niche for itself in
the DU circuit in terms of the value it has added to the marketing space at the
university level by setting benchmarks for its peers to follow. It has successfully
retained the title of the Best Marketing Society for a period of 4 years i.e. 2015-
2019.
From ideation and creation of viral campaigns, to organising one of the best
management conclaves of University of Delhi, Mark-It has always succeeded in
capturing a fair share of recognition. Therefore, Mark-It has not only triumphed in
establishing a presence over the entire Delhi University circuit but also leaving an
indelible mark through its initiatives and activities.

We're exploring new ways of seeing & conceiving marketing, advertising and
designing through this platform. By performing in-depth analyses of current trends
of brands around the globe, we provide informative posts from each and every
perspective in a concise and eye-catching form. On the basis of our research of
understanding the core brand value and consumer offering, we create dedicated
campaigns for them as well.
The USP is its national level outreach, inviting participation from universities and colleges
all across India like St. Xavier’s, Kolkata, NMIMS, Mumbai and Christ University, Bangalore
to name a few. Excelsior 2020 witnessed the advent of this national realm and Excelsior
2021 is ready to push this to a greater extent. Excelsior 2021 is set to bring out the true
potential in its participants this year. It guarantees to redefine what it actually is to be
called one of the Biggest Management Conclaves in India with innovative marketing
techniques, mind boggling events and a huge footfall.
Africa Decoded
This is our most recent association, which saw us curating
social media strategies for the African startup. We
conducted an in- depth competitors analysis and
suggested comprehensive strategies from the field of
marketing, content, growth and revenue. We also worked on
their web presence and suggested a website structure
(toggles), which would ensure that there is no vagueness.
oyo
For Oyo, we published optimised content for its landing
pages, involved with the SEO team for general strategy and
workshops. Mark-it conducted brand positioning research
and analysed over 500 responses.
Trip Magus
Trip Magus is an upcoming travel-based startup, for
which Mark-It handled social media marketing. Trip
Magus’ reach grew multifold with 50,000+
impressions in 4 months. This project has helped us
hone our skills in digital strategy, design and
marketing analytics.

Bobble App
Bobble App is an app which focuses on various types
of typing such as glide typing, voice typing etc. We
brought about a real tangible growth as the
downloads of the application saw a 10 fold increase,
from 1,00,000 to 10,00,000 due to the efforts put in
by our team.
FitMeIn
FitMeIn: FitMeIn is a fitness e-wallet that lets you
exercise on the go! Wherever you are, be it your
house, workplace or a friend's house, never miss a
workout or shake up your routine, all at your
convenience. Mark-It helped them in their
business expansion by significantly reducing
customer acquisition, cost and thereby increasing
the number of customers.
Akshaya Patra
Akshaya Patra: Akshaya Patra is an NPO that runs
school lunch programmes across our nation. We
gave our inputs which helped them to target
recently employed people and extract donations
from them.
Association of Publishers of India
Association of Publishers of India: Mark-It’s team
devised and undertook a comprehensive survey of study
materials recommended for various courses offered
through University of Delhi. We provided them with a
detailed analysis of Xerox Industry and a report was
submitted to API for the same. This served as evidence to
supplement API’s lawyer’s effort in the infamous Delhi
University Photocopy Case.
Cyankart
Cyankart’s vision is to have a site that can merge the concept
of providing information on the latest product trends for the
youth and facilitate a marketplace that will provide the
products instantly to the end consumers. Undertaking the
task to expand their digital footprint, We helped in
researching about the most used platforms by the target
audience. With the company's plan to manufacture over 50
products we helped them in product development with an
aim to satisfy greater demands
Chapter Apps
Chapter Apps is a mobile application which offers
textbook content to students, along with several solved
examples. We provided support to their social media
marketing, undertook application downloads and
conducted pilot tests for them.
BlackCab
Black Cab is an integrated design, marketing and
content production house that values consistency and
dependability. It makes use of in-depth strategy,
innovative marketing, engaging content and impactful
designs to appeal to its clients. In this collaboration we
underwent industry specific market research in the
endeavour of establishing viable social media influencers
to endorse the brand.
Schbang
In our collaboration with The Holistic Marketing
Solutions Agency, Schbang, we undertook the task of
establishing cost effective and time savvy measures of
primary data collection in a bid to assist the agency
garner raw data pertaining to its target audience.
Mad Over Donuts
Bite into Happiness with Mad Over Donuts. In our
sugary collaboration with the donut giant, we went
on a journey of discovery looking for creative
graphic designers with our Pride Canvas graphic
designing contest. Individuals were required to
create visually appealing graphics with a Pride
Month theme to celebrate the diverse yet colourful
month.
Lemon Bowl
Our collaboration with the cloud kitchen, Lemon Bowl
was mouth watering experience where we underwent
market research with the focus being competitor
analysis and STP. We researched and provided
strategies along with suggestions on how to go about
expansion.
Our vision is to create a network of enthusiastic individuals who have a keen interest
in marketing and who strive to explore it beyond its traditional domain. To execute
this plan and take forward Mark-It’s legacy, we have started branching out in some
of the premier colleges of the University of Delhi.
We aim to instill in young minds the importance and need for effective and ethical
marketing by organizing pan-India competitions, regular workshops and sessions,
create opportunities for corporate exposure through live projects, provide marketing
services to associate organizations, and making sure that the relevance and ethics of
marketing stays intact towards different market needs. We achieve this through a
careful process of strategic planning and implementation.
Mark-It SSCBS is currently in talks with students from all across DU and are in the
final stages of starting its new chapters in the coming semester.
Mark-It aims to explain the various developments in the field of marketing and
management. To foster a learning environment for all students. How do we achieve
this? With our Mark-It Ambassador Program (M.A.P), we capture the best of the
talent all across.
