I. Introduction
As a business analyst at Vietcombank Fund Management (“VCBF”), a joint venture between
Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (“Vietcombank”) and Franklin Templeton
Investments, I decided to assign in-depth research on the company that is currently operating. work.
business. in Vietnam. For these companies, my research is to understand the type, size and scope,
function and organizational structure of the company's investment plan. The company I want to
analyze is a mobile world investment joint stock company. Mobile World Company Limited, formerly
known as Mobile World Investment Joint Stock Company, was established in 2004. (“The Company” or
“MWG”) was established under the Business Registration Certificate No. 0306731335 issued by the
Ministry of Industry and Trade. Department of Planning and Investment of Binh Duong province on
January 16, 2009. According to the ranking of the top 500 retailers in Asia - Pacific according to the
assessment of Retail Asia Magazine 2018, the company is a retailer. leading in Vietnam in terms of
scale, revenue and profit. He is also the only Vietnamese representative in the Top 100 leading retailers
in the region.

II. Types and purposes of Private sector

The private sector is a part of the economy run by for-profit individuals or companies that are not
governed by the state. It includes all businesses that are not owned or operated by the government.

a. Types

Sole proprietorships: These are businesses that are run and owned by only one person and
are often financed by personal finance (Lutkevich, 2022)
Partnerships: These are companies that have two or more private owners. Partnerships
are a common business structure for legal and advertising organizations. (Lutkevich, 2022)
Small and mid-sized businesses: SMEs are defined by their revenue, number of
employees,
assets. The US Small Business Administration (SBA) sets the headcount for a small business to
be less than 500 employees. According to the SBA, medium-sized businesses with 500-2000
employees and businesses with fewer than 10 employees are small home offices. (Lutkevich,
2022)
Corporations and multinationals: Corporations and multinationals are a company that is a
separate legal entity from its owners. The corporation elects a board of directors to oversee
the activities of the organization. Multinational companies operating in many countries
(Lutkevich, 2022)
Professional and trade associations: This group caters to people in a particular profession.
For example, the American Bar Association serves attorneys and sets the standards for their
field (Lutkevich, 2022)
Trade unions: This is similar to an association, which are businesses that offer information and
services to members of a specific industry, group, or business. They frequently concentrate on
the interaction between employees and employers. (Lutkevich, 2022)
b. Purposes
The purpose of the private sector is to help the economy grow by creating
jobs, providing goods and services, and stimulating economic growth. It is one of the important
sources of state tax revenue. Besides, it also creates products and services that help improve
living standards and boost the economy. Everything that the private sector does is for the
 purpose of making a profit. (Lutkevich, 2022)

III. Types and purposes of public sector
a. Types
The public sector, which is one of the economic sectors that includes everything
from schools and hospitals to roads and bridges, is run and overseen by the government.

There are many different public sector groups, each with a distinct mission and goal. Typical
public sector organizations examples include:
Educational institutions: Public schools, universities, and colleges (PRIVACYSENSE.NET,
2022)
 Healthcare facilities: Hospitals, clinics, and other health services are typically provided by the
public sector. (PRIVACYSENSE.NET, 2022)
Transportation infrastructure: Roads, bridges, airports, and mass transit systems are all typically
managed by government agencies. (PRIVACYSENSE.NET, 2022)
Utilities: Electricity, water, and sewage are all examples of essential services that are typically
provided by the public sector (PRIVACYSENSE.NET, 2022)
b. Purposes
The main purpose of the public sector is to provide services deemed essential by society.
Often these services are provided free of charge or partially subsidized. Like the volunteer sector,
public sector organizations do not seek to make a profit (PRIVACYSENSE.NET, 2022)
c. Example
Free or low-cost state-managed or state-funded educational institutions such as
elementary schools, junior high schools, etc. For example, Le Quy Don junior high school is
managed by the state reason, all teachers are paid from the state and all students only need to
pay low cost to study

IV. Types and pruposes of voluntary sector

a. Types
The volunteer sector or non-profit sector includes organizations that want to benefit
and enrich society, often not for profit and will have no or little intervention from the

 Like other nonprofits, several of these organizations employ both paid employees and
volunteers. Like neighborhood groups, other organizations have far broader definitions and can

Many organizations often work closely with the state to assist in the delivery of services
and programs. All the money that is raised or earned by an organization in the volunteer sector
will usually be invested back into the community or the organization itself. The purpose of
volunteering is to earn more social wealth than material wealth, benefiting and enriching

c. Example
These organizations were established to help those in need, with the aim of helping them
and not in need of profit. For example: SOS Children's Village Vietnam, International Charity for
the Disabled (Handicap International), ...

V. Mobile World Investment Corporation (MWG)

a. What is MWG
MWG stands for Mobile World Investment Corporation, this is the external transaction
name of Mobile World Investment Joint Stock Company. As can be seen, MWG is also the name
of the company, the owner is behind operating leading retail chains in Vietnam such as The Gioi
Di Dong, Dien May Xanh, Bach Hoa Xanh, An Khang, 4KFarm (Chi) Department of High-tech
Agriculture Development branch of Bach Khoa Xanh) and in your country Cambodia -
Bluetronics (Hien, n.d.).
In addition, MWG is also the stock code of Mobile World Investment Joint Stock
Company on the exchange. (Hien, n.d.)

b. Learn about MWG

i. Thegioididong.com
Thegioididong.com is a retail chain of mobile devices (mobile phones, tablets,
laptops and accessories, ...) established in 2004. Currently, Thegioididong.com has a
scale spread across 63 provinces. The city has 2,500 mobile selling points, accounting for
the number 1 market share in Vietnam.

ii. Green Electrical

Following the success of Thegioididong.com chain, in 2010 the Dien May XANH
chain was established with the original name Dienmay.com. This is a retail chain of
consumer electronic products (electronics, refrigeration, household appliances, ...) with
more than 1,500 stores present in 63 provinces and cities across Vietnam.

iii. Green Department Store

GREEN BHAG was started to be tested in 2015, this is a chain of stores
specializing in retailing fresh food (meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, ...) and necessities. With
a scale of nearly 2,000 supermarkets in the southern and southern central provinces,
Bach Hoa XANH is still on the rise with the goal of covering the whole country in the near
future. (Hien, n.d.)
The products provided by Bach Hoa Xanh are guaranteed to be fresh, of clear
origin, and diverse in type. Reasonable prices compared to traditional markets and small
shops, in a clean, friendly space and in locations accessible to housewives. (Hien, n.d.)

iv. Bluetronics

Bluetronics, formerly known as Bigphone, was born in 2017, is the first retail
chain of consumer electronics in foreign markets of MWG. Bluetronics currently has
more than 20 stores specializing in retailing genuine mobile devices and electronic
products in Cambodia, with quality after-sales service and cooperation with consumer
financial institutions for installment sales, things that consumers in this market have
never experienced when buying at a retail store.

v. 4Kfarm
As a new member of the MWG family, 4KFarm was established as a hi - tech
agricultural development branch of BHAG GREEN. 4KFarm was born with the mission of
 providing customers with safe, healthy food and bringing a more prosperous life to
farmers.
4KFarm 's team of agricultural experts transfer technology and support farmers to grow
safe vegetables 4 NO (no pesticides, no growth agents, no preservatives and no
genetically modified varieties). 4KFarm is committed to purchasing 100% of this safe
vegetable from farmers and supplying it exclusively to the GREEN BHAG chain.

vi. An Khang pharmacy

In 2018, MWG launched the An Khang pharmacy chain, this is a chain of stores
specializing in selling pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, medical equipment, ...
Currently, An Khang pharmacy chain is being opened mainly in Thanh Hoa city. Ho Chi
Minh Street.

c. Mobile World logo meaning

The Mobile World logo has two main parts: the text part and the image part. To better
understand the implication in the logo, we will analyze the meaning of each part. (Hien, n.d.)
About the shape of the logo is the human symbol moving in the center of the circle. The
outer circle symbolizes the globe, expressing the desire to bring the brand worldwide. To do
that, it is necessary to put the customer as the center, giving the customer the best satisfaction,
that is why the human image in the center of the circle appears on the logo. Besides, the image
of people created from squares represents many of MWG 's retail stores. (Hien, n.d.)
The word " thegioididong.com " is also quite easy to understand, it represents the first
retail chain that the company owns and maintains until today. The font used in the logo design
is lowercase to create closeness and friendliness. The tilt of the font to the right as a message is
always forward. In some cases, the text will be reduced. For example, the logo hanging on the
MWG building does not have the word " thegioididong.com ", instead it has the word MWG.

d. About logo colors
MWG 's logo design uses two main colors, gold and black. The black color in the logo
represents maturity and professionalism while the yellow color represents prosperity, vastness,
luxury and class. Yellow color combined with black creates attraction and highlights for mobile
world logo design. However, the Colors on the logo can be adjusted to suit the nature of the

e. MWG is committed

VI. Size of MWG

a. Data
Total capital: 62.971.303.814.942 VND (Ngan, 2022)

Total revenue:122.958 of billion VND (Ngan, 2022)

 Total employee: 74.111 in 31/12/2021 (My, 2022)

b. Size of the company

Because MWG is a company with more than 100 employees participating in social
insurance, total annual revenue exceeds 300 billion and total investment capital is more than
100 billion (Law, 2022). Specifically MWG is a company in the commercial and service sector
with more than 100 employees, total revenue in 2021 is more than 100 billion VND and total
investment capital is more than 60 trillion VND. Therefore, the mobile world can be identified
as a large business in the commercial and service sector. Besides, Mobile World Investment
Joint Stock Company is also listed on the stock exchange and recognized as the top 500 largest
companies in Vietnam. (vnr500, 2022)
VII. The scope of MWG
a. Skateholders
i. Internal: employees (Ngan, 2022)
Those who are directly interested in the business of the company. They can be
shareholders of the company or employees of the company, they are the most affected
because if the company grows, the business goes smoothly, they will get a raise or bonus.

ii. External: Creditor (Ngan, 2022)

External stakeholders are people including friends, family, banks, government, etc.
They are people who care about the company's business as much as internal stakeholders.
Because if the business fails, they can't get their initial capital, and the business is successful,
they can get their capital back and make a profit.
b. The economic objectives relating to revenue or product development
and the social objectives in 2021 or in 2022 of the MWG
MWG sets challenging goals for 2022: In comparison to the implementation outcomes in
2021, revenue has increased by 14% and after-tax profit has increased by 30% to reach VND
140,000 billion. The epidemic, according to MWG's expectation, will continue to develop
complicatedly, but it won't result in a blockade-induced slowdown or have a more significant
effect on business and production than it did in the previous two years. And to carry out MWG
to put the following primary activities into effect: MWG's overarching plan for 2022 is to
maximize its purchasing power and spend money on initiatives that will boost sales, care for
customers, and improve the shopping experience. Since then, the company has increased sales
volume, client base, and shopping volume without aiming to raise gross profit margin. As a
result, revenue and profit growth have been achieved. (Ngan, 2022, p. 27)

c. The objectives in b meets the needs and interests of stakeholders

MWG set this goal to boost sales, take care of customers and improve shopping
experience. Internal stakeholders: Employees and external stakeholders: Creditors they are all
interested in the development of the business. For internal stakeholders who are employees,
they have a direct interest in how the business operates because if the business grows, they
will have a stable income, salary increase or bonus. Conversely, if the company does not do
well, they may lose their jobs. As for external stakeholders: Creditors, which can include
friends, family, banks. All of them are especially interested in the business of the business
because if the business is good they can get their investment capital back and also interest,
otherwise it will be difficult for them to get their initial capital back.

 b. The primary duties of the key marketing and accounting
departments
The board of directors is the main department concerned with the marketing and
accounting departments. The board of directors is responsible for strategic planning, the
company develops its goals over the long term and long term. Executive, management
company follows the theme of development. The Board of Directors has the highest
responsibility in the organization, all daily business activities of the company, is the
representative of the company before the law. Organize the implementation of resolutions and
decisions set out by the Board of Directors. (Ngan, 2022)

c. With specific instances, Marketing and Accounting are in line withthe

objectives of the selected organization.
Finance and marketing departments are closely related. Or this department must always
rely on each other to make effective business decisions on how to minimize costs and bring
maximum profits.
Example: The dynamic world joint stock company in the last 3 months of 2021 reached a record
level since its operation, with revenue increasing by 33%, and profit after tax increasing by 66 &
over the same period. Accumulated for the whole year, the most sustainable revenue of this
business is nearly 123,000 billion VND, equivalent to about 5 billion USD, up 13% compared to
2020 and the plan is 98%. In which, online revenue reached VND 14,370 billion, up 53%. Profit
after tax for the whole year reached more than VND 4,900 billion, up 25% and 3% planned.

IX. Conclusion
MWG (Mobile World Investment Corporation) is the number 1 multi-industry retail platform in
Vietnam in terms of revenue and profit. Established in 2004. Currently, this mobile device retail chain
has a scale spanning 63 provinces and cities with 2500 mobile selling points. Over the years, MWG has
developed into a leading retail chain in Vietnam and is trusted by many users. With the model of joint
stock company MWG has many shareholders with 51.00% other ownership, 49.00% foreign ownership
and 0.00% state ownership. Therefore, MWG is counted as the private sector, namely corporations and
multinational companies.
