Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance or repair work.

Serves as the company representative in the working site, attend meetings and sites visits.
Ensure every job is executed in a short possible time, meeting company targets and ensure clients satisfactory by maintaining
good quality of work.

A site Supervisor is a vital role in a construction industry, A Supervisor lead teams in completing
construction projects also watch over the labour being performed to endure that the final product
meets specification in terms of designs and targets and spend most of their time at project sites.
The supervisor will typically work closely with the site Foreman who’s responsible for organising,
planning construction works on site and report to the project manager

CONSTRUCTION SAFETY OFFICER
Safety Officer is responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and develop
measures to assure personal safety
The Safety Officer ensures that the site safety and health plan is prepared and implemented also ensures
there are safety messages in each incident plan.
SIBUSISO MASINA as a Site Safety Officer to ensure that all construction works are done
in accordance of the OHS Act and maintain the safety compliancy on site.
As a site Safety Officer at BIG BEND WORK-SITE, you’re here charged with certain duties
among others the following:
Ensure the safety of everyone in the working site by conducting inductions to new workers
and visitors to the work site.
Assess and mitigate all risks on the working site,
Conduct toolbox talks to the employees and keep records.
Organise and conduct safety meeting and keep records of matters discussed.
Ensure that working tools are inspected and are in good working condition and safe for work.
Ensure safety, health and environmental procedures are being followed.
Ensure an elimination or mitigation of every hazard in the working area to give out a safe
working environment for everyone.
Investigating and examining the causes of incidents and attending formal inquiries
Reporting to management of any employee who continually fails to comply with the company
Health and Safety rules.
Investigating complaints by any employee relating to that employee’s Health and Safety at
work.
Monitoring and maintaining safety equipment and PPE and reporting concerns to the
management.
Assist and advise fellow employees on all relevant Health and Safety related issues.
