Report

The aim of this report is to evaluate the public system in Madrid and to make some
recommendations for improvements.
Firstly, I am going to introduce the train, also called Cercanias. It connects the center of
Madrid with the outskirts and transports millions of people from one place to another.
Also, the price is not very expensive, so many people can access it. However, due to all
the people using the train, it takes a long time to arrive, and it is always full, so I
suggest putting more trains to reduce the waiting time.
Secondly, Madrid also has the Metro, it has an infrastructure like the train, but it does
not reach as many places in Madrid as the train. It is also faster than the train, so its is
more used by people. Nevertheless, the prices are higher than the train, so not all
people. Therefore, I recommend lowering the ticket prices to make it accessible to
everyone.
Finally, the bus has the function of connecting all of Madrid and transporting people to
places where they can not reach by the train and the metro. Furthermore, the bus is
the cheapest public system, although it is also the slowest. So, I would suggest
purchasing more buses to reduce the waiting time and making a great deal of special
lanes to avoid traffic jams and delays.
To conclude, public systems in Madrid is very effective if the above suggestions are
implemented, it is sure to progress and to continue to be so popular.
