CLASSROOM POLICIES ATTENDANCE

• Attendance is mandatory. It is impossible for the teacher to excuse students from the class and exempt them from
graded activities or missed material. The most efficient way to cover the material is to attend classes regularly, and
do the assigned tasks or activities. It will be difficult to catch up if many classes (or two in a row) are missed.
• The instructor may withdraw students for excessive absence (4) or failure to meet course objectives and makes no
commitment. Students who miss more than 4 classes may be withdrawn as unauthorized withdrawal (UW) but if
they decide to withdraw voluntarily before the Prelim exam, they must inform the registrar’s office and concerned
subject teachers for authorized withdrawal (AW).
EXAMINATION
• The exams are given during the Prelim, Midterm, Semifinals and Finals. We follow the NO Permit, No Exam Policy.
Students are given 10 days to take the missed exam; otherwise, the exam criteria will be marked 60 or failure.
• Special Exams are given to students with valid reasons, but a new set of test paper is administered.
INCOMPLETE GRADE POLICY
• Incomplete grades (INC) will be given only in very rare circumstances. Generally, to receive the passing grade, a
student must have taken all examinations and has complied with all the missed requirements. The incomplete grade
will become a failure after the established date (submission of final grades to the registrar’s office).
FACE TO FACE CLASS SCHEDULE
• Observe one student per bathroom break.
• Be seated on the designated chair as assigned in our seat plan. Failure to be in the designated seat is equivalent to
no attendance.
• Observe appropriate uniform and posture during class time.
