About the exam

The Foundation Exam is taken on day three. This is a one-hour, multiple-


choice paper with no reference material allowed. There are 60 questions. You
will need to achieve 33 correct answers to pass.

Please be aware that…

You will need to schedule for 2 hours of home study each night during the
course.

The course hours are 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. for the first two days and 9.00
a.m. to 5.00 p.m. the final day.

To give you the very best opportunity to pass the PRINCE2 exams, we have
put together this guide, which describes the work that you will need to
complete before arriving to the course.

The work is based on the PRINCE2 manual, Managing


Successful Projects with PRINCE2 6th Edition, which is
included with this study guide in your pre-course
materials.

The manual is nearly 400 pages long. You will need to


approach the work in a structured manner and
persevere if you are going to take in and understand the
detail.
The following is a guide to help you organize your study plan and a schedule
of the work that you should complete before arriving at the course.
