Myself

I am from a middle-class family in Yangon and my name is Su Sandi Kyaw. I am

affable and energetic, twenty-two years old young girl. Nobody comes to the world without
family and friends. My family always supports and encourages me to develop my inner soul.
There are total of three people in my family. My mother has a pale shade of brown complexion.
The most striking feature in her face is her brilliant eyes which make her look brave and gentle.
My Father has a fair complexion. He is short- tempered but very sympathetic. Both are
merchants, we own a small retail and wholesale shop.

Not only my parents are responsible for their occupations but also their housework. I’m
also learning from my father by helping our own business in my spare time to inheritance in the
future. On the other hand, my mother shows me how to cook and maintain the households. There
are bunches of good memories with my family especially in cooking time; we like to eat snacks
and meals which are made in home. Moreover, I have lots of bonding moments with my family.

By sharing our achievements and failures, we Live in unity. A home is a place where a
person feels safe and accepted. My home is really a sweet home constituting of my mother and
father. Moving to new home is one of my family most desired wish. In 2023, we reached our
goal and that was one of the biggest achievement of our family. Being graduated student is the
other goal of my parent. I studied KG to Grade (10) at B.E.H.S.No(2) Latha. As Matriculation
exam is turning point for every student’s life, I tried my best. As a result, I got Law major at East
Yangon University. Although I am interested in Business law, I stopped going to university
since our country’s political chaos began.

During these years, I have learnt accounting subjects and at the present, I am preparing
for entrance exam. I manage my time not only on learning but also on doing my hobbies in my
spare time. My other hobby, reading books especially fictions which gives strong emotions and
confidence. Joining book clubs are beneficial for me to share information and improve critical
thinking. Every Sunday, our family goes to Hindi temples to help in God festivals. I am very
grateful to participate as a member of youth team in a religious organization for getting a chance
to meet variety of people.

According to my dream, I would like to contribute to uneducated people in my country

and I want to provide free charges education for needy. To complete my dream, I still need a lot
of skills and capacities. The majors which are offered in Liberal Arts Programs persuade me to
join that interesting learning environment. I do believe that my point of view on a subject will be
wider than before after I graduated. As other youths, I am giving my best on improving myself
by doing good deeds for my community.
