I. Guidelines, Mechanics and Awards:

A. Guidelines
● The performance rating of the School Head must be at least Very Satisfactory (VS) for the past
3 years. (if shifting of SH happened in 3 years- the previous and the present performance
rating of the SH will be used)
● The accomplishments, innovations and their impact must be within the last 3 school years.
● Present impact of accomplishments by indicating problems addressed, people/office benefited and /or
transactions facilitated.
● Presentation of documents must be in order of significance including the MOVs.
● Use specific terms in the presentation of the accomplishments and documents.
● State outstanding accomplishments and impact in brief, factual and in bullet form.
● Complete documentary requirements and information must be submitted on the timeline set by the
district and division.
● Any misinformation and misinterpretations made in the documents shall be grounds for
disqualification.

B. Mechanics
● District Offices shall conduct district orientation on the mechanics and guidelines of the Best
Implementer of SPJ. They shall form a team of evaluators and validators to check all documents and
Mode of Verification.
● All official nominees of the district level must be given recognition prior to the submission of
the nomination to the next level.
● Recognition of the Best Implementer of SPJ Category shall be done in the division level.
● All winning entries are expected to present their best practices and experiences during the
APEx Award Learning Expo in the division level.
● Only 1 entry per District will represent to the Division Level
● At the Division Level, only 1 will be recognized as the Best Implementer of SPJ
