Summary of Responsibilities as QC Inspector:-

 Responsible for dealing all of QA/ QC Civil and structure related activities
 To initiate the RFI for Client’s inspection points including Hold, Witness and Review
as per ITPs
 To Issue INCR or Discrepancy report in the event of the non-conforming work done
by contractor and to review and propose Corrective and Preventive actions for non-
conformity
 To raise proactive during construction works to avoid any non-conformance
 To coordinate with construction crew for on‐going civil/structural activities, including
but not limited to excavation, backfilling, compaction, Field Density Test, rebar
inspection, formwork inspection, anchor bolt and embedded items inspection,
concrete pouring, asphalting etc.
 To witness applicable tests conducted on concrete, soil, asphalt, water including
concrete slump, temperature, soil sampling, FDT, DFT, TDS, Plate load test, Prime
coat, tack coat, Concrete Core and UPV Tests as per required specifications and
standards
 Performing pre-inspection to ensure that all installed materials are approved and
within the standard in conformance to applicable drawings & specs.
 Conducting final inspection with Client’s representative prior to proceed concrete
pouring and other succeeding work activities which requires step by step inspection
as per inspection and testing plans
 To ensure that all the construction activities are systematically controlled and
executed so that only conforming materials, equipment, approved methods and
procedures to be used for construction purposes
 To inform the Site Manager and QC Supervisor of any deviation regarding the
contract
 Conduct quality tool box meeting related to different activities for proper awareness
of construction team
 To observe safety requirements & inform HSE on any unsafe acts or hazards that are
present in the work site
