1 Purpose

The purpose of this document is to give instructions to the network in the form of checklists for the
commissioning of the new FLEXI WCDMA NODE-B
The purpose of commissioning is:
- to prepare the FLEXI WCDMA NODE-B and the site for the integration test
- to ensure that the hardware is tested and that the hardware database is
configured according to the site specific documentation.

The purpose and the definition of main work phases are given in the following chapters. The
checklist of the work phases and the Certificate of Completion have been enclosed in this
document. The checklist is updated after each work phase. If problems occur, a Failure Report or
Site Deficiency Report is made and the number of the report is updated with regard to the
checklist.

2 Scope

The document is applied to the commissioning work by Nokia Siemens Networks. The Customer
Services for Nokia FLEXI WCDMA NODE-B. It is assumed that the installation of the exchange
has been completed and the deficiencies noticed during the installation have been corrected

4 Commissioning Check List

The Commissioning of the Network Element(s) (FTEB /Node-B system) and other agreed
scope of works have been carried out in accordance to the relevant Nokia Commissioning
Manuals and other provided document, as required, and that the attached checklist
presents a fair and true statement of completed works.

Click Start to execute the testing for the selected units

WBTS ID_BTScomreport_yyyymmdd.txt file

4.2.5 Transmitter Output Power Level

of DPC 16) and type RF-power and VSWR readings into result

Stop the test and change tester sensor to next cell
