SUBJECT: Landing Gear - Goodrich Main Wheel Assemblies, Nose Wheel Assemblies, and
Brake Assemblies - Permitted Optional Paint Color

1. Effectivity

Goodrich main wheel assemblies, nose wheel assemblies, and brake assemblies that are
installed on Cessna Model aircraft (refer to Table 1).

2. Reference

Applicable Goodrich Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) (refer to Table 1).

3. Purpose

This Service Letter tells operators that some wheel assemblies and brake assemblies are
now available in grey or white colors. Operators can now paint these assemblies grey or
white at a shop visit.

4. Reason

Operators can order wheel assemblies and brake assemblies with a color that aligns with
the color of their landing gear.

5. Procedure

Order replacement assemblies or individual parts in one of two colors as shown in

Table 1 that follows:

Operators can ink-stamp an optional “T1” after the part number of parts or assemblies
after an operator applies white paint.
