Statement of the Problem

The goal of this study is to identify the relationship of insurance awareness and financial

literacy among 3rd year students. Specifically, it sought to answer the following;

1. What is the demographic profile of DFCAMCLP students in terms of:

1.1 Age

1.2 Sex

1.3 Course Program

2. What is the level of awareness of 3rd-year students of DFCAMCLP- Main campus in

terms of insurance?

3. What is the level of financial literacy of 3rd-year students of DFCAMCLP- Main

campus in terms of insurance?

4. Is there a significant difference on the responses of the respondents on insurance

awareness and financial literacy, when grouped according to demographic profile?

5. Is there a significant association between insurance awareness and financial literacy

among 3rd year students of DFCAMCLP-main campus?

6. Based on the results, what enhancement plan can be propose?

Hypothesis
1. Null Hypothesis (H0): There is no significant difference between Insurance

Awareness and Financial Literacy among 3rd year students of Dr. Filemon C.
