OBJECTIVES

To examine the level of media literacy among students. This objective will
focus on assessing the extent to which students possess the necessary skills
to critically analyze and evaluate media content.

To determine the prevalence of scam victimization among students**: This


objective aims to quantify the occurrence of students falling victim to scams
and fraudulent activities, both online and offline.

To identify the types of scams most commonly encountered by students.


This objective involves categorizing and understanding the various forms of
scams that students are susceptible to, such as phishing schemes, online
fraud, or deceptive advertising.

To explore the relationship between media literacy levels and scam


victimization. This objective seeks to investigate whether there is a
correlation between students' media literacy skills and their likelihood of
being targeted or falling for scams.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

In an increasingly digital and media-saturated world, students are exposed to a


wide range of information sources, including potentially deceptive or fraudulent
content. Despite the importance of media literacy in checking the credibility of
information and protecting oneself from scams, there is a lack of comprehensive
understanding of the relationship between media literacy levels and scam
victimization among students. The problem statement aims to address the
following questions:

1. What is the level of media literacy among students, particularly in their


ability to critically evaluate media messages and identify potential scams?

2. What types of scams are prevalent among student populations, and to


what extent are students falling victim to fraudulent schemes?

3. How do students' levels of media literacy correlate with their


susceptibility to scam victimization, and what factors contribute to their
vulnerability to deceptive practices?

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM


The effective management of academic schedules is crucial for the academic
success and overall well-being of students, particularly in the context of face-to-
face classes. In the field of Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM),
students often face challenges in balancing their academic workload,
extracurricular activities, and personal commitments within the constraints of a
face-to-face class setting.
However, there is a gap in understanding how ABM students strategically manage
their academic schedules to optimize their learning outcomes and maintain a
healthy work-life balance. The problem statement aims to address the following
questions:
1. What are the common challenges faced by ABM students in managing
their academic schedules in a face-to-face class environment?
2. How do ABM students currently plan and organize their academic tasks,
study time, and extracurricular activities to meet their academic
requirements effectively?

3. What strategies and tools do ABM students employ to prioritize tasks, set

To explore the relationship between financial literacy and spending habits
among students.
To provide recommendations for enhancing financial literacy and promoting
healthy spending habits among students at ACLC College of Taytay.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM


Despite the importance of financial literacy in making informed financial
decisions, there is a lack of comprehensive understanding of the level of financial
literacy among students at ACLC College of Taytay. Additionally, there is a need to
examine the spending habits of students and explore the factors that influence
their financial behaviors. The problem statement aims to address the following
questions:

1. What is the level of financial literacy among students at ACLC College of


Taytay?

2. What are the spending habits of students at ACLC College of Taytay?

3. What factors influence the financial behaviors and decision-making of
