Recently, I work as administrator officer at PT. Petsira Mode. Due to the pandemic,
our company has a policy to quarantine all of its employees since March. Since June
or July I came back to work, but not every day. Twice or thrice a week.

M: In other word, you take turns to come into the office and work?

R: Yes, It’s true. Our employees who come to work only in the production and finishing
department. we started quarantine since March until now.

M: Are you married?

R: I am not married yet, Mam.

R: I live with my parents, Mam.

R: I usually use the video-calling app on WhatsApp. On my social media, I use

WhatsApp more than any other application.

M: What are you doing usually if you do video chat through WhatsApp?

R: Three a long time ago, I took part in a hijaber casting. I use video chat to be able to
communicate virtually, face to face with my old friends. Moreover, I ask about my
friends and family's condition through the WhatsApp.

M: Who did you stay in touch with? I can't listen it clearly.

R: Normally, I keep in touch with my relatives.

R: My close friends and family as well. I use Instagram Live to help me connect with my
friends who are in distance.

R: That's right, besides that I use IGTV and others Instagram’s video app.

R: I ordinarily use video features on Instagram such as igtv and live instagram.

video-calling via the WhatsApp.

R: I use live Instagram to connect with a wider range of friends.

M: Why the using of WhatsApp application is more specifically for relatives?

R: Based on my opinion, using WhatsApp is more privacy.

R: Messenger is the WhatsApp version on the Facebook application. We can make video

R: The things come to my mind is when friends are scattered far and wide, staying in

R: Even tough we are separated and could not meet personally by face to face, but
connection among us still exist on messenger.

R: What I understand is that Facebook as a platform which helps the people feel likes
they are together and connected, even when they are – or have to be – physically
apart, through messenger feature on Facebook.

R: When I click the "create forum" button, a video will appear like in the WhatsApp or
Instagram application. On social media, either Facebook or Instagram has the same

R: We will connect with relatives.
