LIST OF PROPOSED PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS

I. Alphonation Drive

A. OBJECTIVES

 To provide unused items from the students to the ones in need.

 To allow the student body to declutter for a good cause.

 To generate an income out of this platform.

C. PROJECT PROPER
What: Whenever the students are in the state of decluttering items from their respective households, they
can declutter for a good cause. With this platform, they are given the opportunity to donate these said
items that aren’t going to be used anymore. So, instead of these being just thrown out or whatever they
want to do with these items, they can share it to those in need of the items they are to declutter. Donating
their used items could really help a number of people most especially to our adopted scholars and
adopted communities.

Also, in times of calamities to happen in the foreseeable future, we’d also have some items on stock,
ready to be donated to the people affected. In addition, it is for sure that there might be some items that
will be excesses. What are we going to do with these excesses? We sell them to outsiders, paving us a
chance to earn an income. The income we earn from this will of course be also for a good cause. We can
utilize the income generated for it to be distributed to the people in need of such, as well as to the school
and to the council themselves for it to be used as funds for future projects needed to be executed.

Now, how can I be sure that students will surely participate for this platform? Motivation is the key.
Posting pubmats in the student council core’s page and announcements in the community board as well
as in the respective bulletin boards of each classrooms could be. I would just be the one to provide the
print outs. Another would be proper dissemination of information to the student body, I can make use of
the grade level representatives and respective CIP officers and the appointed CIP Chairperson of the
student council for that. This can also be in collaboration with the CIP office.

This platform aims to uphold the school’s core values of truth, goodness and discipline. Bringing with us
the spirit of camaraderie, generosity and kindness as well as promoting volunteerism and willingness
among the students of the institution.

Where: If given the opportunity to make this platform into a reality, students can now donate their
unwanted items outside of the student council core office. A box or container will just be provided for the
students to deposit such mentioned items. But of course, knowing that the office is also somewhat in a
secluded place of the school, they can also reach out to their respective grade level representatives and
give it to them so that the grade level officers can also be the one to deposit it in the provided container.

When: Students can donate their decluttered items anytime of the longevity of the school year.
