The verb feel sometimes means "have an opinion about".


In this case, use an adverb.

Ex: I feel strongly about the number of stray dogs in my


neighborhood.

Adverbs before adjectives and adverbs

You can use the adverbs to make an adjective stronger.

She’s talented. She’s incredibly talented.

She’s generous. She’s extremely generous.

She’s organized. She’s very organized.


You can use pretty and fairly mean “more than a little.”

Ex: The new Netflix series are pretty long.

You can use absolutely and really but not very with adjectives that are very strong.”

Ex: We get along very well.

The expression at all makes negatives stronger. It usually goes after the adjective.

Completely and totally mean 100%.

Adjective prefixes
You can use prefixes to make adjectives with opposite meaning

Here are some examples:

Use the prefixes in - dis - dis - un - un - im to complete the following adjectives.

out the positive side of a situation.

That means that we need a negative situation
