OBJECTIVE:
The objective of this project is to familiarize students with the design process
involved in transforming an idea into a tangible object. Through the use of 3D
modelling techniques, students will be tasked with designing and assembling a
mechanism that has some mechanical advantage. The project aims to highlight the
importance of understanding mechanical advantage and its practical applications
in real-world engineering scenarios.

DRONE DESIGN:
Drones, also known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), are remote-controlled or
autonomous aircraft used for various purposes. They have gained popularity in
fields such as aerial photography, videography, surveillance, mapping, delivery, and
even recreational use. Here are some key aspects of drones:
Components: Drones consist of several essential components:
 Frame: The structure that holds all the components together.
 Motors: Electric motors that provide thrust for propulsion.
 Propellers: Rotating blades that generate lift and control the drone's
movement.
 Flight Controller: The brain of the drone, which processes sensor data and
sends commands to the motors.
 Battery: Powers the drone and its electronic components.
 Sensors: Including accelerometers, gyroscopes, GPS, barometers, and more,
these sensors provide data for flight stabilization, positioning, and
navigation.
 Cameras and Payloads: Optional components for capturing images or
carrying specialized equipment.
 Communication System: Enables control and data transmission between the
drone and ground station or remote controller.
