SMOKE DETECTION SYSTEM
INTRODUCTION TO SMOKE
DETECTOR
• Found in the lavatories and cargo baggage
compartments.
• Mounted in the compartments in strategic locations.
• A smoke detection system is used where the type of
fire anticipated is expected to generate a substantial
amount of smoke before temperature changes are
sufficient to actuate a heat detection system.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
The main objectives of this project is to design a circuit useful for detecting
smoke and activating an alarm. To achieve this, the following must be done:
Situation Implementation
Designing
analysis & monitoring
A. Preparation of materials, components, tools and equipment as well as design and planning.
B. Materials measurement, cutting and shaping.
C. Lavatory construction and cockpit construction.
D. Smoke detector coding and programming.
E. Finishing such as labelling and final testing of the smoke detector and minor alteration.
