Sildar Hallwinter is a retired soldier and sellsword who hails from the city of Neverwinter. He
is a loyal member of the Lords’ Alliance, a political organization that unites the various free
cities and towns of the North.

I remade him as a 3rd level Fighter Battlemaster with Protection Fighting Style, Commander's Strike, Rally, & Trip Attack.

The players were inspired by how he used his actions to protect and enable the players with extra attacks, hit points, and advantage against
a prone enemy.

Sildar's statblock is perfect for a generic Ughter/soldier, when you need something tougher than a CR 1/8 guard or noble, but not as tough
as a CR 3 veteran or knight. I would make the parry AC a Yat 2 rather than 1d6 though.

New to DND Beyond, going to run Lost Mines campaign... How do I add an NPC which is Undable like this to my campaign so I don't have to
build out his stats if I need to roll for them as the DM...

In the DM's note's section in your campaign notes, just type the text you wish to turn into a link, highlight it, and then click the little chain
icon in the editor, which will allow you to paste a url for the destination of the link. It will look like this:

When your in the encounter builder part of your campaign look up under the source tab lost mines and he should be under there.
