Discovered
Limited Content Diversity: Noticed a lack of variety in the content
available on the My Community tab, with a focus on popular
mainstream shows and movies.
Community Engagement: Discovered a potential lack of interactive
features or discussions related to the content, which could hinder
the sense of community within the tab.
Personalization Precision: Realized that the recommendations
weren't always aligned with individual preferences, suggesting
room for improvement in the personalization algorithms.
Discoverability Challenges: Felt that some content
recommendations were too broad, making it difficult to find niche
interests or genres.
STUDY PROCESS & OBJECTIVE
Through empathy maps we found out
the pain-points in a viewer's streaming
experience on OTT platforms.
Found out that " Cost of commitment" to
a particular series/movie is too high.
Lot of recommended and trending
content on the UI doesn't turn out as
expected.

Planned Next Steps
Diversify Content: Collaborate with local creators and
filmmakers to curate a more diverse range of content, including
regional movies and shows that would resonate with the Tier II
city's audience.
Boost Community Interaction: Implement interactive features
such as discussion boards, watch parties, and user-generated
content submissions to encourage engagement and discussions
around shared interests.
Refine Recommendation Algorithms: Invest in refining the
recommendation algorithms to provide more accurate and
personalized content suggestions, catering to individual tastes.
Regular Iteration: Commit to regular updates and improvements
based on user engagement patterns and feedback, ensuring a
dynamic and evolving platform.
