Part 1

Throughout the years, humanity has known numerous changes in terms of technology, which
nowadays has become very beneficial to the way our world evolves. Although technology might
have an impact on how people do their shopping, I hold the belief communication is the most
affected one when it comes to technological change.

Firstly, the way people communicate these days appears to be more effective, as the message itself
is sent faster. For instance, should one have to address an issue, the user will instantly find a solution
to his problem, which is just a click away. Therefore, technology is a useful mean of communication.

In addition, keeping in touch with people online is a very popular concept due to technology
advances. Since some may describe themselves as introverts, social media helps them break the ice.
Namely, instead of attending a bash, an introvert will always choose to even get to know new people
by using media apps. Thus, technology has, once again, proved to be important to the way humans
connect with each other.

In contrast, many people might be under the misapprehension that owing to technology, shopping
has become an easier job, as the customer can skip the awkward physical interaction with the staff.
However, I consider that these usually uncomfortable moments are the ones which actually help us
to get rid of anxiety. Hence, shopping online is not always advantageous.

To conclude, technology has reached its aim to make communication faster and even easier for
some of us. After all, these two aspects will always be part of our daily lives, which seem to deal with
a lot of change.

Part 2

Report On The 2023’s Events

1. Introduction

As commissioned, this report aims at providing an insight into the events organized by the
entertainment committee, as well as offering some suggestions for further improvement. The
following information has been collected from polls, interviews and personal opinion. This report will
focus on 2 main aspects, as presented below.

2. The Children’s Festival

The first event we organized this year was a festival for children, which received an astonishing
number of positive feedback. The main purpose of the event was to test children’s communication
skills, as we set up numerous activities in which they could socialize with each other. In contrast, it
was one of the trainers who came as an unpleasant surprise to everyone, as he did not do his job to
the letter.

3. The Concert of Summer

Secondly, the concert given by our local bands was very appreciated as well. Not only did they create
a magic atmosphere, but they also succeeded in connecting the audience and therefore gain
popularity. The only downside to this event was the funding, which, in spite of our expectations,
limited us in terms of organization.
4. Suggestions
Moreover, the afore mentioned aspects above require us intervene, as they might represent
a barrier to improvement. That is why I recommend investing more money in our
committee. In addition, should more people be hired in our department, the upcoming
events will surely be even more successful.
5. Conclusions

The conclusion to be drawn from these facts is that the events we organized were quite
successful, but given the inconveniences caused by funding and employees, we need to
immediately solve these problems. Should my recommendations be taken into consideration, I
am positive that the situation will definitely improve in the forthcoming months.
