ABOUT THE FITNESS DIRECTOR

A first-year student in BS Digital Animation and illustration of Ateneo de

Naga University, Siddhartha Louise Ababon understand the struggles of

having to keep fit. As a student who has to face the computer most times of

the day, she decided to run a fitness center for beginners with her knowledge

of basic fitness and physical education from their PEDS101 course.

VISION

Our vision is to create an inclusive clique where people feel comfortable to start basic to intermediate

work outs and live better and healthier lives.

MISSION

At Neophyte Fitness Center it is our mission to allow work out beginners a safe place to learn and start

living healthier lives. We value curiosity and engagement, and work to aid beginners be comfortable with

working out, by providing a healthy learning experience with kind guidance.


RATIONALE

Neophyte Fitness Center is a beginner friendly center, who aims to give people a starting point in their

physical fitness journey. Encouragement is a good place to start and ideals, and Neophyte Fitness Center

strives to encourage new participants to begin working out. We care for our customer’s mental health as

much as their physical health, so we will begin at their level of selection among programs varying on

which bodily component they want to develop further. With the ability to choose work outs, customers

are to have a holistic fun experience, which they will remember as educational, enjoyable, and engaging.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE FITNESS CENTER

Our target participants are the beginners and those unmotivated to begin their physical fitness journey but

want a change in their lifestyle. Our fitness programs centers on beginner level exercises to get

participants going. The center offers a variety of exercises depending on which component of fitness the

participant wants to further engage on after trying out all the basics. These components are muscular

strength, muscular endurance, agility, power, balance, and flexibility. Exercises will be provided with

work out demonstration handles personally by the instructor. Additionally, sessions are held 3 times a

week on a MWF (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) or FSS (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) schedule depending

on which session can the participant perform best at.

THE FITNESS CENTER


NEOPHYTE FITNESS CENTER PROGRAM

FIRST WEEK:

Participants are scheduled to three sessions. These first three sessions will allow the participant to

experience the basic workouts. Two fitness component workouts are expected per session. Sessions will

last 30 minutes to one hour depending on the participants preference and ability.

SECOND WEEK:

After experiencing all basic fitness component workouts, participants are to choose which components
