MOBILE LIBRARY HUB PROJECT

Rationale:

The objective is to promote and enrich literacy among learners under Learning
Recovery and continuity Plan; cultivate the schools’ community the love for books and
reading; strengthen partnerships and linkages among stakeholders as it supports the
program; access reading resources in the implementation of functional school reading
remediation/intervention for learners who were assessed as struggling readers. Sta.
Ana National High School being an educative institution under the umbrella of the
Department of Education actively enjoins itself in the Mobile Library Hub Project of the
Division of Misamis Oriental anchoring on the same goals and objectives. Thus, the
school reading coordinator along with the language department, LRMDS coordinator
and Teacher-Librarian designate organized a SLAC session activity to orient the
advisers on the guidelines of the conduct of Mobile Library Hub project.

This project targets school learners who lack access to educational opportunities
and relevant exposure which comes from access to books. Every five clusters
composed of district schools will receive, account for, and facilitate the reading
materials to be borrowed, distributed, and used by all schools in the district. These
books will then be transferred to the next district based on the attached timeline.
