FIRST AID, RESCUE & WATER SAFETY

I. College Vision:

1. Conducted First aid training for selected situation;
2. Ensured safety of lives as first aider oriented;
3. learned how to conduct first aid and water safety;
4. knew how to determine the cause of injury;
5. Learned how to survive in water & save lives.

Course Title: FIRST AID, RESCUE AND WATER SURVIAL
Course Credit: 2 UNITS
Course Description:

The entire module covers the principles and practice of first aid & water safety, are based on practical medicine and surgery, which would, in case of accidents or sadden
illness, drowning etc. enable trained persons to give such care until medical aid is available.

Learning Outcomes
 At the end of the course, the students must have;
1. Knowledge how to conduct first aid;
2. Learned the basic of first aid & water safety;
3. learned different injuries, treatment, and its classification;
4. Applied the notion and ideas drawn by the subject matter in real life situation;
5. Conformed to the international standard of life saving.

Pre-requisite: P.E. 3
Number of Hours: 3 hours every week for 18 weeks or 54 hours in a semester
