    Task 2 Configuring the Active Directory Server


    1. Connect the necessary peripheral devices of the server computer and make ready for a job.
    2. Assign Static Class A IP Addresses for Client and Server computers.
    3. Assign the computer name
     Super1 for server computer.
     Client1 for client computer.
    4. Adjust the date and time setting to the current date and time on both the client and server computers.
    5. Install Active directory on the server with the Domain name ETV.et
    6. Create Three organization units (OU) called Entertainment, News and Production.
    a. Create the following users with their password

    b. Give privileges for Entertainment OU Members to change their password at first login and change
    password (Editing).
    c. Join the client computers and check if users are able to login through the domain.
    d. Give privileges to News OU Members to can’t change their password at first login.
    7. Create new organization units called CEO.
    8. Move News OU Members into the CEO OU.
    9. Change CEO OU Members Password into Mgr123
    10. Create new User under Production OU by using your name
    11. Set the access limitation time for Lemelem’s account to not access the network from Wednesday up to Monday
    12. Set the access limitation time for Naredos’s account to access the network from Friday up to Tuesday only
    during working hours
    13. Disable Lemelem’s and Eyerus’s Account.
    14. Create group policy object for Production OU and restrict access to the command prompt  
    15. Create group policy object for CEO OU and Run Calculator Programs at User Logon.
    16. Enable Eyerus’s Account.
    17. Delete Naredos’s Account
    18. Delete News organizational unit
