Task 2 Configuring the Active Directory Server

1. Connect the necessary peripheral devices of the server computer and make ready for a job.
2. Assign Static Class B IP Addresses for Client and Server computers.
3. Assign the computer name
 SpoServ for server computer.
 SpoCli for client computer.
4. Adjust the date and time setting to the current date and time on both the client and server computers.
5. Install Active directory on the server with the Domain name ESF.et
6. Create Three organization units (OU) called Football, Athletics and Volleyball.

b. Give privileges for Football OU Members to change their password at first login and change password
(VAR).
c. Join the client computers and check if users are able to login through the domain.

7. Create new organization unit and called Basketball.
8. Move Athletics OU Members into the Basketball OU.
9. Change Basketball OU Members Password into Bab123
10. Create new User under Football OU by using your name
11. Set the access limitation time for Hiwot’s account to not access the network from Wednesday up to Monday
12. Set the access limitation time for Mohammed’s account to access the network only during working hours
13. Disable Hiwot’s and Sara’s Account.
14. Create group policy object for Volleyball OU and restrict to use the WordPad and Calculator.  
15. Create Logon Banner for both client and server computers.
